A dark tea, Pu Erh is fermented for a least a year to develop a deep flavour. It is then usually crafted into round, cake-like disks, which are broken with a thick tea needle when ready to drink. This Pu Erh is presented in the loose leaf shou-style so you can just get on with making your tea. The flavours here are very different and are reminiscent of well rotted compost and freshly tilled earth. A gentle sweetness also permeates this tea, which can be had with or without milk.
