Description
Home of Red Panda conservation, Darjeeling in India is at the base of the Himalayan Mountains. The high altitudes here make the flavours of the tea bush very different in character from its lower altitude cousins in Assam. This second flush picking in summer sees increased rainfall and humidity which kick starts the plant into growing, imparting a fruity, muscatel, flavour to this aromatic tea. Great for blending we've found that it mixed well with the malty body of Assam teas to create a more complex taste.
